The Nitro Quiver Cannon snowboard is the silver screen (instagram) superstar of the Quiver range. Featuring a swallowtail shape and coming in HUGE sizes this board is sure to turn some heads while ripping around the resort. Coming in two sizes; the more versatile and brand new 163cm which is perfect both on and off piste, and the 203cm which provides extreme float in the deep stuff. Don't be afraid to ride this board all over the mountain though, the reduced effective edge actually makes this board ride shorter than the size so you can feel both stable and nimble as you ride and was truely built for good times!
Board Type: Freeride - Powder
Freeride snowboards are built for steeper, off-piste terrain. These boards are ideal for aggressive riding and usually for more advanced riders.
Powder snowboards are designed for deep snow. Generally these boards feature a directional shape with a tapered tail for better float and ease of riding.
Flex: 7/10 (1=soft, 10=stiff)
Offering a balanced blend of flexibility and stiffness, mid-flex boards are versatile and suitable for all-mountain riding. They provide enough responsiveness for carving while maintaining some forgiveness for playful or casual riding.
Ability Level: Advanced
Advanced snowboards are stiffer and more responsive, designed for high-speed control, precision riding, and handling challenging terrain or tricks.
Shape: Tapered Swallowtail
A tapered swallowtail snowboard features a directional shape with tail taper and a split tail that enhances float, stability, and turn control in deep snow. The tapered profile allows the tail to sink naturally, keeping the nose up with less effort, while the swallowtail design improves flex response and edge hold for smooth, controlled turns at speed.
Camber Type: Cam-Out Camber
Cam-Out camber is basically positive camber with earlier and smoother transition zones in the tip and tail. This gives the board a lower rise in the centre, resulting in a fun and responsive ride with easier turn initiation and more forgiveness, giving you the benefits of camber without the aggression.
Profile: Standard Core Profile
The Standard Core Profile features a thicker section in the middle, extending from the first insert to the last, while gradually thinning toward the contact points. This design delivers exceptional speed, stability, and edge control.
Width: Mid-Wide
Mid-wide boards offer slightly increased width, reducing toe and heel drag, enhancing flotation, and boosting confidence when leaning into powerful carves.
Sidecut: Progressive Sidecut
A larger radius sidecut in the nose that blends into a tighter radius in the tail, keeping your turns fast and catch-free.
Inserts: 2x4 Inserts
These offer a tighter hole pattern, allowing for more precise stance adjustments. They're common on modern boards and ideal for riders who want fine-tuned positioning and can be used with any binding with a standard or mini disk.
